Merrimack: River at Risk – nearing the finish line.

The beginning of the Merrimack River in Franklin, New Hampshire.
The Merrimack River begins in Franklin, NH at the confluence of the Pemigewasset (left) and Winnipesaukee Rivers.

It has been almost two years since I wrote a post on here – yikes! I feel a little bad about that, but the good news is that I’ve been engaged that whole time on some cool projects. A film about the Merrimack River tops that list.

My partners at the Society for the Protection of NH Forests and I started working on this film shortly after American Rivers listed the Merrimack as one of the most endangered rivers in the US in 2016. Almost four years later (really?!), we are close to finishing our story about why this important watershed is at risk. We wrapped production last month and we are furiously working on the edit.

We’ll be sharing preview clips soon!
