Description: This workshop will be an intensive workout of your digital photography skills!  Indoor instruction will include three to four hours per day of lectures designed to help you efficiently store and organize your photo archive. Next, you will be exploring techniques for realizing your vision for your images using the power of RAW processing, HDR software, and more. Software covered will include Lightroom, Photoshop, Nik HDR EFEX Pro, Photomatix, and Helicon Focus. The workout continues with field work in nearby Acadia National Park, where we’ll shoot rocky coastlines, intimate harbor scenes, and mountain landscapes. After each shoot, we’ll return to the classroom to practice our workflow techniques with our newly shot images.  The workshop schedule will be flexible so that we can be out shooting in the best light possible for the subject matter. Jerry will draw on his twenty years of experience shooting in Acadia National Park and his experience in writing his three books about the park when determining the best photo locations. To get a head start on workflow techniques, check out Jerry’s new book, The AMC Guide to Outdoor Digital Photography.

  1. Hi, I am not looking to take a photo workshop, although yours seems fabulous. In fact, I do workshops in Mexico ( But I somehow stumbled across your website via a link in LInkedIn with Naturescapes. Anyway, I wanted to tell you how much I loved your work.
